Odin Alföðr

Odin is a character from my novel, 'NAUNET: The Labours of Animus'. Odin Alföðr (Alfadir) is the Skyfather and chief god and father of the Æsir gods of Asgard. He is called Alfadir which means 'All-Father'. Odin is renowned through out not just within his own cosmic domain of the nine realms of Yggdrasil but in all of Eternity as one of the wisest of all divine beings to have ever existed. Not only is Odin renowned amongst the gods and his peers the other Skyfathers such as Anu, Ra, and Zeus but even amongst beings that are far more powerful and ancient than purely corporeal and temporal dieties such as Skyfathers and gods. The Eternals themselves, primordial beings that exist beyond the fabric of space and time, who give birth to omniverses, revere Odin for his wisdom, cunning and supreme adepthood in all sorts of mysterious and inconceivably powerful forms of magic. Amongst Odin's dreaded and most revered repetoire of magic is his Rune-magic and Odin's infamous All-Seeing Eye. With his All-Seeing Eye, Odin has effectively seen all possible futures and combining it with his Rune-magic Odin can select which course he prefers to guide fate and essentially the destinies of all who dwell within the annals of space and time. This is why Odin is so revered even by beings who are technicaly meant to be vastly superior to him, for even the Eternals who can see all futures hence they live outside the space-time continuum, cannot indefinitely control or dictate the fate or future of all of Eternity, despite being the creators of time and space themselves who live in Eternity. One Eternal in paticular, the Eternal Elu Eon, Creator of the Omniverse of Eon, and the Creator of Time itself (Eon is the creator of the very same omniverse where Odin and the other Skyfathers were born in), pays Odin visits every eon (a trillion cosmic cycles, a fraction of the time it takes the cosmic domain of a Skyfather to travel across the ever expanding Eternity of Æthereona, Eon's Mother), to exchange knowledge and wisdom with the Æsir All-father and learn more from what seems to be the ever growing boundless repository of the arcane which is the god Odin. As Odin hosts the Eternal Elu Eon in his palace in Valhalla, Eon inquires of Odin the whereabouts of Eon's elder brother, the Super-Archangel Metatron, and if Anima, Odin's spy in the ranks of the Legion of Animus, has obtained Metatron's Cube from Animus (whom Metatron had allegedly left it to after Metatron had given Animus the last of his divinity) for Eon. Though both Eon and Odin himself are mutualy aware that Odin is, atleast according to celestial hierarchy, 'supposedly' subordinate to Eon, (as a temporal and corporeal divine being in comparison to Eon who is an ominversal being who exists beyond space and time), and must do as Eon commands without question, in their vassal-lord relationship. Eon is basically God to all beings in His Omniverse, including Skyfathers like Anu, Ra, Zeus and even the All-Seeing, All-Knowing, All-Wise, All-Powerful, All-Father, Odin Alfadir himself. All the gods that exist are Eon's vassals and servants hence he essentially created time and therefore created them. Inspite of this Eon is no fool and is all too privy to Odin's cunning and deceptive nature. Though their ambitions are momentarily aligned with the very oppurtune absence of Metatron from the Earth realm of Midgard, both Eon and Odin will have to keep a careful vigilant eye on each other and see who's knowledge and wit will grant the worthier of the two the power only Metatron ever had; the power to control fate, time, space and the future and therefore essentially the power to not only control the very nature of reality but to have absolute control over all of reality in all of Eternity itself.
