Animus Arrives in Valhalla

Animus is a character from my novel, 'NAUNET: The Labours of Animus'. Animus is teleported through the fabric of space and time by Æthereona, the Etermal All-Mother, to hold a summit with Odin the All-Father of Asgard and Eon, the Eternal Realmking of the Omniverse of Eon. Animus makes his own entrance by bursting through Odin's front door and pulverizing the gates of Valhalla. After making their first aquaintance with one another millenia ago on the battlefield in Midgard, as Animus first began to lead the Legion of Animus to defend mankind from the Sky Fathers, Odin was impressed by the promise of the young demigod heralded as Metatron's successor. Animus could not best Odin in war but did manage to keep the Valkyrie and the other Æsir gods from claiming further territory for the All-Father on the Earth realm. The two met several more times on the battlefield and Animus only grew stronger each time. Animus sensed Odin was holding back on him and demanded Odin not underestimate mankind. Odin taunted Animus, knowing fully well he was once a NTRW, and the son of Ra himself. Animus retorted that he fought for humanity alone and needed no charity from the gods and if Odin would not fight him seriously he should cease any more conquest in Animus' territory in Ra's domain of the Earth realm, Khematia. Odin took a liking to the strong willed young demigod claiming humanity and struck a truce with him. Odin and Animus have been on diplomatic terms since, some might even say the two have become friends, despite Animus' general disdain for Skyfathers. With Odin finally off of the heels of claiming NTRW territory in the Earth realm on behalf of his truce with Animus, Ra has attempted to extend his compliments to his former son, but as expected Animus has staunchly ignored his father. Odin, ever the cunning trickster, has been amused by this and has decided to continue to be an ally with Animus to further draw a wedge between Ra and Animus and to spite his old rival and fellow Sky Father, Ra, by forming an alliance as it were with his disowned son. In wake of a new threat and by the commision of the Eternal All-Mother Herself, Animus has returned to Valhalla in Asgard, to hold a summit with his wise old friend of sorts, Odin Alfadir and Eon the Eternal Realmking of the Omniverse of Eon.
