Ninhursag and Queen Ea are characters from my novel, 'NAUNET: The Labours of Animus'. It has happened. Fate has finally struck. The tyrannical Queen Ea invades the Earth Realm of Ra to expand her domain of Nibiru, the primordial abode of the Anunnaki. Ea has assumed power over Nibiru as the next heir in line to the throne to succeed her father, the father of the Anunnaki, the All-Powerful Skyfather Anu. But Ea has a personal vendetta to settle once and for all, with none other than her twin sister the All-Benevolent Ninhursag. Ninhursag was and still is infact the true heir next in line to the throne of Nibiru. But being the pacifist that she has always been, Ninhursag vehemently chose to decline the throne as to not perpetuate the deadly cosmic domain expansion wars that her father and the other Skyfathers have subjected mortals all across Eternity to, for the sake of their own vain insatiable greed for more power. Ea and many in Nibiru took this as a major insult and slight to the supremacy of Anunnaki rule and the monopoly over power and influence over the entire cosmos the Anunnaki instilled in all other gods and their cosmic domains. But most especially a spit in the face and major slight to Ninhursag's and Ea's very own father, the All-Powerful and very first Skyfather to have ever come to existence before the foundations of the material world, Anu. However, Anu loved and still loves Ninhursag for Ninhursag still is and has always been a loving kind, all-benevelont soul even before she earned the title 'The All-Benevolent One' from seemingly ending cosmic wars by her mere presence on the battlefield. All who look into Ninhursag's third eye are instantly filled with a desire to love and care for all around them, ending any drive to want to take life, even in the midst of a cosmic war. The energy Ninhursag would passively emit, would melt the war mongering hearts of all deities and mortals in any war campaign she arrived to, instantly ending that war without shedding any blood. This unique trait Ninhursag had gained her unilateral respect in the entire cosmos by all beings, mortal and divine alike. But this trait to instill love in the hearts of those who saw her, and the respect and fame it garnered Ninhursag, and the favoritism most of all she gained from her father, fueled her twin sister Ea's envy and hatred for Ninhursag even more. This triggered Ea to unconsciously awaken the opposite power; the power to evoke seemingly unquenchable hatred and warmongering bloodlust in all who looked into Ea's third eye. Ninhursag detected this transformation in her twin sister, and from that point forward distanced herself from Ea warning her father Anu, to never allow Ea to assume power over the throne of Nibiru. Millenia later, when Ninhursag refused the throne, Anu supported her, despite the rumours of public disdain of Ninhursag's seemingly unpatriotic and selfish decision. Anu condemned any Anunnaki, civilian or ranking elite, from even thinking about holding her in contempt let alone laying a finger on her. But knowing the tensions it may raise amongst his children, when Ninhursag insisted on self-exile, Anu permited her, so long as she would not have conflict with her younger siblings especially her bitter rival of a twin sister, the tyrant Queen Ea. Ea has held an even deeper grudge since Ninhursag's decllne, which grew even worse when Anu revealed to Ea, it was Ninhursag who cautioned him not to allow Ea to become Queen of Nibiru because of the dark power she had awoken from her deep seated bitter jealousy of her own twin sister. Ea's reaction for once, was not of anger, but of betrayal and depression. Since they were children Ninhursag had always defended Ea, and made excuses for Ea's short-temper and violent reaction to any criticism. But for the first time, Ninhursag had seeminly turned on her, and though Ea always envied the favoritism Ninhursag recieved, Ninhursag's sudden and subsequent self-exile was the last straw for Ea. Ea vowed to her own soul when she assumed the throne of Nibiru, she would invade the mortal realm and the Earth for the sole aim of defeating her lifelong rival-twin sister Ninhursag then forcefully drag her back to what would then be Queen Ea's throne in Nibiru to humiliate Ninhursag for her 'moral and mortal sentimental weakness' and 'treachery' of her own race. But most of all for abandoning her. Ninhursag was long aware of Queen Ea's deep seated envy and hatred, from instinct and from the allies she still had amongst the Annunaki ranking elite and former brethren. Therefore Ninhursag has allied herself with the mortals of the Earth Realm of Ra, and has joined the ranks of the Legion of Animus to protect mankind from predatory Sky Fathers seeking to expand their cosmic domains through celestial war campaigns. Ninhursag and Ea must now confront fate and determine their destinies and those for all mortals in a cataclysmic war to end all cosmic domain expansion wars for good.
